Cmdr. Quemada’s Career
Cmdr.
Quemada, originally from Washington State, enlisted in the Navy in 2005 and became an ensign in 2007 after completing training at Officer Candidate School in Newport, Rhode Island.
With a focus on cryptology, she played a significant role in supporting Special Operations in Afghanistan through a lengthy deployment, providing critical intelligence for village stability efforts.
Her career also includes notable roles such as serving as the assistant branch chief for Cyber Pursuit and Exploitation at the NSA/CSS Threat Operations Center in Hawaii, as well as leading Cryptologic Warfare Group SIX Detachment in Digby.
